What colour is Friday? It was an innocent question which changed comedian Lorna Prichard’s life. It made her realise that she was part of a rare group of people experiencing the neural condition #synaesthesia.
Synaesthesia is a joining up of the different senses and, in Lorna’s case it means speech is subtitled, pain is patterned, and funk causes fireworks. It is genetic, involuntary and can’t be switched off. But would she really want to?
